The felicitation will take place during the “I Pledge for 9 Achievers Award” ceremony on March 25 at the Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Jhalana Doongri, Jaipur.

The prestigious award recognizes the best service providers under the PMSMA initiative, which aims to ensure comprehensive and quality antenatal care for pregnant women across India.
Recognizing Outstanding Healthcare Delivery in Udaipur
Dr. Ashok Aditya stated that in 2023-24, Udaipur’s health institutions demonstrated exceptional performance under the scheme, with a focus on maternal health and safe deliveries. The district recorded the health checkups of nearly 35,600 pregnant women, reflecting a dedicated and sustained effort toward maternal care.
The PMSMA is conducted across all government healthcare centers on the 9th, 18th, and 27th of every month, offering free health check-ups and essential medicines to pregnant women. As per the guidelines, each expectant mother undergoes a minimum of four antenatal checkups, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment of potential health concerns.
