Udaipur, 14 August 2025 (Kiran News) :As per the directions of Shri Umesh Ojha, Additional Superintendent of Police (City), the main Independence Day event on 15 August 2025 will be held at Maharana Bhupal Stadium. In view of the large number of spectators expected, special traffic and security arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the programme.

Citizens attending the event are strictly advised not to bring food packets, water bottles, tiffin boxes, matchboxes, cigarettes, radios, tape recorders, or any other electronic items inside the stadium. People are also urged not to touch any suspicious items, and to immediately report anything unusual to the nearest police officer or security personnel.
Vehicle Entry Restrictions (from 7:00 AM until the end of the programme)
Entry of four-wheelers and three-wheelers will be prohibited at the following locations:

From Shiksha Bhawan towards Chetak Circle

From Hathipol Gate towards Chetak Circle

From Court Chauraha towards Chetak Circle

From Lok Kala Mandal towards Chetak Circle

From Nazar Bagh and Gumania Nala towards Chetak Circle
Parking Arrangements

Two-wheelers to be parked near Akashvani Kendra

Four-wheelers to be parked at Shiksha Bhawan Chauraha

Both two-wheelers and four-wheelers can be parked on both sides of the road near Lok Kala Mandal
Traffic Diversions

Vehicles coming from Fatehpura will be allowed to move via Sukhadia Circle, MG College, and Court Chauraha

Vehicles from Mallatalai side can travel via Ayurvedic Chauraha, Ambavgarh, Nai Pulia, or via Jhariya Marg to Hathipol and Delhi Gate
-
From the evening of 14 August until the end of the event on 15 August, private buses operating from Pahadi Bus Stand will operate from near Lok Kala Mandal

Parking of private buses along the stadium wall will be prohibited during this period
Emergency services such as ambulances, fire brigades, and other essential vehicles are exempt from these restrictions.
Citizens are requested not to park vehicles on main roads and to extend full cooperation to the traffic police for a smooth and safe event.
