Udaipur–Bari Sadri Bus Service Resumes After 10 Years

Udaipur, April 9 (Udaipur Kiran): In a major relief for commuters, the Rajasthan Roadways bus service between Udaipur and Badi Sadri has resumed from Wednesday after a gap of nearly a decade. The service had earlier been discontinued due to a shortage of buses in the roadways fleet. With the arrival of new buses at the Udaipur depot, operations have now been restored.

The resumption has sparked happiness across the region, with villagers extending a warm welcome to the bus at several locations along the route. Representatives of Badi Sadri Mitra Mandal, including Praveen Dak, met the depot’s Chief Manager Hemant Sharma and expressed their gratitude.

As per the schedule, the bus will depart from Udaipur at 6:00 am and reach Badi Sadri via Mangalwad, Boheda, and Dungla. On the return journey, it will leave Badi Sadri at 9:30 am for Udaipur, again depart for Badi Sadri at 2:00 pm, and finally return to Udaipur around 5:00 pm.

The restart of this service follows representations submitted by Shri Panchmukhi Balaji Seva Sansthan in Badi Sadri.

Meanwhile, newly allotted buses across various Rajasthan Roadways depots have begun operations. A bus allocated to the Bhilwara depot has been deployed on the Udaipur–Jaipur route, offering additional convenience to passengers.
