TVS Motors has initiated a voluntary recall of a select batch of its TVS iQube electric scooters. The recall affects devices manufactured between July 10, 2023 and September 9, 2023.
TVS iQube Review: What’s the Problem?

According to TVS’s official statement, the inspection of the axle tube is a voluntary initiative “so that the driving and handling of the vehicle is optimal for long-term use”. The focus of the investigation is the tube bridge.
TVS will contact the owners of the affected scooters directly to schedule a service appointment. During these appointments, technicians will inspect the bridge tube and make any necessary repairs or replacements at no cost to the customer.

Scooter owners who purchased a device manufactured between the above dates and are unsure whether the recall will affect their iQube can contact their nearest TVS dealer or wait for an official announcement from the company.
Among other recent developments, TVS has expanded its iQube range by introducing new variants at the lower and upper end of the spectrum. The range now starts with a base variant equipped with a 2.2 kWh battery, which TVS says offers a genuine range of 75 km. In addition, the iQube ST range now includes 3.4 kWh and 5.1 kWh batteries.
