UDAIPUR : A priest was seriously injured in a leopard attack in a village in Amet region of Rajsamand district on Friday.

According to information, Hiralal Gurjar was attacked by a leopard at Varjia Veri Devasthan in Parvati village near Amet subdivision when he was returning from the temple after worship.
The leopard, which hiding in the bushes, suddenly attacked him from behind and injured him. He received deep injuries on his hands, neck and face, sources said. After hearing his cries, labourers working in nearby mines rushed to the spot and took him to hospital.
