Udaipur: A workshop on laser technology was organised by the Department of Dermatology at the American International Institute of Medical Sciences in Bedwas. Doctors, nursing staff and medical students from GBH General and Cancer Hospital participated in the workshop.
Dr Jaya Verma, Dr Anuj Kothari, Dr Chetna Gehlot, Dr Pravesh Walecha, Dr Shrishti Agrawal and Dr Prachi Garg from the Department of Dermatology delivered lectures on various aspects of laser technology.
The experts explained the basic principles of lasers and shared information about the use of laser hair removal, CO₂ laser and other laser technologies in treatment.
Advanced Laser Services Started at GBH
Director Dr Surbhi Jain said advanced laser services have recently been started at GBH. Laser procedure rooms equipped with modern equipment have been developed for this purpose.
The facilities will include hair removal, tattoo removal, pigmentation treatment, treatment of acne scars and spots, and facial rejuvenation.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Director Dr Priya Jain said that the availability of various modern medical facilities on the same campus would provide greater convenience to patients.
