Chasing 76, RCB made light work of the target. Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 23 off 15 balls, hitting one four and two sixes, while Devdutt Padikkal played a quickfire knock of 34 not out off 13 deliveries, including three fours and three sixes. The only wicket to fall was Jacob Bethell, who scored 20 off 11 balls before being dismissed by Kyle Jamieson.

Earlier, Delhi Capitals suffered a dramatic batting collapse and were bowled out for just 75 runs in 16.3 overs, marking their third-lowest total in IPL history. The team had a disastrous start, losing six wickets for just 9 runs in the powerplay — the lowest powerplay score in IPL history.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood led the bowling attack for RCB, picking up three and four wickets respectively. KL Rahul, coming off a strong previous performance, managed just 1 run off 3 balls before being dismissed early.

Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel, and Sameer Rizvi also fell cheaply as Delhi struggled to build momentum. A brief resistance came from David Miller (19 off 18) and Abishek Porel, who top-scored with 30 off 33 balls.

RCB’s clinical performance helped them avenge their earlier defeat to Delhi this season. With this win, RCB registered their fifth victory in eight matches and climbed to second place on the points table, while Delhi Capitals slipped to their fifth loss in as many games, standing seventh.
