Excise Commissioner Shri Shivprasad Nakate stated that license holders are demonstrating high enthusiasm and confidence in the renewal process. Out of the 7,665 liquor shops in Rajasthan, 5,490 have already been renewed, marking a significant milestone in the department’s efforts.

For the first time, the Excise Department is on track to achieve over 90% renewal completion in February itself, ensuring a seamless transition for the upcoming excise period. Shops that remain unrenewed after the deadline will be allocated through an online e-bidding auction system, conducted in a group-wise manner.

This initiative underscores the Rajasthan government’s commitment to efficiency, transparency, and regulatory compliance in the excise sector.
