Nothing Phone 4a, the rumoured next midrange smartphone from UK-based tech brand Nothing, may soon arrive in the Indian market. A new listing on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website suggests that the company is preparing for its launch in the country.

As per tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, a Nothing device carrying model number A069 has appeared on the BIS database. He claims this is the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a. The model number aligns with the company’s naming pattern — the current Nothing Phone 3a is listed as A059 and its Pro variant as A059P.
The BIS listing dated November 13 does not reveal any specifications or design elements of the smartphone. However, it indicates that the device has entered the regulatory approval stage in India, hinting at an upcoming rollout. The phone is also expected to be accompanied by the Nothing Phone 4a Pro, likely sometime in the first quarter of 2026.
The existing Nothing Phone 3a was launched in March with a starting price of ₹22,999. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. It includes a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, a 32-megapixel front camera, a Glyph Interface and a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support.
While major details about the Nothing Phone 4a are still under wraps, users can expect upgrades over the current Phone 3a lineup. More information is expected to surface closer to launch.
