New Delhi, 21 November (Udaipur Kiran). Farhan Akhtar’s film 120 Bahadur has been released in cinemas today, marking an important moment for the actor and filmmaker. A special screening was earlier organised for Bollywood stars, but the real test begins with today’s audience response.

Sharing their excitement, Farah Khan and Kajol extended best wishes to the 120 Bahadur team. Posting the film’s poster, Farah wrote that she hopes the film succeeds and urged audiences to go to theatres and show their support.
Kajol also posted on her Instagram story, congratulating the entire team for bringing a strong story to the screen with sincerity.
Earlier, actor Randeep Hooda praised the film in a detailed social media post. He wrote that the story is extremely powerful and wonderfully told — a moving tale of duty, sacrifice, and courage. He also saluted Farhan Akhtar and the cast for their performances.
120 Bahadur is based on the 1962 India-China war, highlighting the bravery of the 13th Kumaon Regiment at Rezang La. Despite freezing temperatures and limited weapons, Indian soldiers stood firm to defend the nation. Out of 120 soldiers, 114 were martyred, but they forced thousands of enemy troops to retreat.
The film had faced controversy after its trailer launch, with a petition filed seeking a change in its title and certain scenes. However, the High Court refused to order any changes and allowed the film to release pan-India as scheduled.
