Jodhpur to Ramdevra Special Train to Run on June 6 with 10 Unreserved Coaches

Jodhpur, June 2 — In view of increased passenger demand and the influx of devotees traveling to the Ramdevra temple, the Indian Railways has announced a special unreserved train between Jodhpur and Ramdevra for one trip on Friday, June 6.

Summer Special Trains

According to Anurag Tripathi, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Jodhpur Division, the Jodhpur–Ramdevra–Jodhpur Special Train is being operated to facilitate smooth travel for pilgrims heading to the renowned Ramdevra temple.

Special Train Timings and Route

  • Train Number 04833 – Jodhpur to Ramdevra Special:
    Will depart from Jodhpur at 10:50 AM on June 6 and arrive in Ramdevra at 2:30 PM the same day.

  • Train Number 04834 – Ramdevra to Jodhpur Special:
    Will depart from Ramdevra at 3:20 PM on June 6 and reach Jodhpur at 7:15 PM.

Coach Composition

The train will have a total of 10 unreserved coaches, including:

  • 8 General Coaches

  • 2 Guard/SLR Coaches

These unreserved coaches are designed to accommodate a large number of devotees traveling without reservations, making the journey more accessible and affordable.

Halts En Route

Senior DCM Vikas Kheda confirmed that the train will halt at the following stations between Jodhpur and Ramdevra:

  • Raikabagh

  • Mandor

  • Marwar Mathania

  • Osian

  • Marwar Lohawat

  • Phalodi

These stoppages aim to serve pilgrims from nearby towns and villages, easing regional connectivity to the temple town.

Enhanced Convenience for Devotees

This one-day special service is expected to provide significant convenience to devotees, known locally as ‘Jatara’ pilgrims, heading to Baba Ramdev’s shrine, which sees massive footfall, especially on weekends and festive occasions.
