Udaipur, June 21: Under the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” the 11th International Yoga Day was enthusiastically celebrated at Government College, Badgaon, Udaipur. The event, organized in collaboration with the Heartfulness Meditation Centre, featured a yoga practice session and a seminar that drew active participation from students and faculty alike.

During the session, students engaged in a range of yoga exercises and meditation techniques, experiencing first-hand the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of the ancient practice. Trainers from the Heartfulness Meditation Centre — Mr. Devilal Chandel, Mrs. Madhu Mehta, Mr. Deepak Menaria, Mrs. Vandana Sharma, and Mrs. Indu Tiwari — guided the participants through various yoga asanas and mindfulness techniques, helping them explore the deeper aspects of yoga.
Speaking on the occasion, College Principal Professor Anjana Gautam highlighted the holistic importance of yoga. “Yoga is not just a pathway to physical fitness; it rejuvenates mental peace and overall well-being as well,” she said, encouraging students to adopt yoga as a daily habit.
Students participated enthusiastically in the event and pledged to incorporate regular yoga practice into their daily lives, recognizing it as an accessible and effective path to staying fit and centered.
