Udaipur — The two-day PIMS Genesis 2025 Cultural Fest at Udaipur’s Pacific Medical College, Umerda, wrapped up with an electrifying finale that had students dancing to the beats of chart-topping hits and rolling with laughter during comedy acts. The vibrant closing night at Mewar Banquet Hall on Shilpgram Road brought together music, comedy, and DJ performances that left the audience thoroughly entertained.
The highlight of the evening was none other than Bollywood music composer and singer Amit Trivedi, whose appearance on stage was met with thunderous applause. Students had eagerly awaited his performance, and when he struck the first notes of the devotional hit “Namo Namo Shankara,” the crowd swayed in unison, lost in the music’s spiritual energy.
Later, when Trivedi performed “Ui Amma Ui Amma” and the popular “Chaudhary” — seamlessly blending Rajasthani folk elements with modern rhythms — students danced with unbridled enthusiasm. Understanding the crowd’s vibe, Trivedi delivered back-to-back hits, keeping the energy high throughout his set.
Star Performers Add to the Festive Atmosphere
Earlier in the evening, PIMS MD Naman Agrawal welcomed the attendees and extended his best wishes. The grand finale also featured standout performances by Dubai-based superstar Bollywood DJ Shadow, stand-up comedian Inder Sahani, comedian Waliya, DJ Swizzl, DJ Kiara, musical-comedy group Pomedy, and lyricist-storyteller Ranmal Jain — all of whom received an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience.
Every performance, whether musical or comedic, was met with cheers, whistles, and applause that added to the infectious energy of the night. The banquet hall became a dance floor as DJs spun one energetic track after another, with everyone from students to faculty grooving to the music.
