Udaipur, 11 August – The monthly meeting of Green Saviours Udaipur was held at Aranya Kutir on Rani Road under the chairmanship of Green People Society President, Rahul Bhatnagar. The key agenda included the ecological development and conservation of the Baghdara Protected Area and the assessment of the effectiveness of tree guards installed for plant protection in Udaipur city.

Members expressed concern over the need for planned efforts to preserve the natural biodiversity and environmental balance of the Baghdara region. Concrete measures were suggested to develop the area as an ecotourism destination. It was also decided to compile these suggestions and forward them to the Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), Udaipur, for departmental action.
During discussions on urban development issues, it was noted that many tree guards installed by the Municipal Corporation and Urban Improvement Trust had deteriorated, compromising plant safety. The meeting resolved to recommend to the Udaipur Municipal Commissioner and the UDA Commissioner to recover, repair, and reuse tree guards to address the problem.
The meeting was attended by President Rahul Bhatnagar along with senior members R.K. Singh, Prabhulal Sharma, O.P. Sharma, O.L. Menaria, Virpal Singh Rana, Pratap Singh, Rajendra Singh, Layak Ali, S.N. Singh, and Brijpal Singh.
