Eicher Motors and Volvo Group joint venture (JV) company — VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported 40.10% growth in sales at 5982 units in July 2022. The company had sold 4271 units in the same month last year. Total domestic sales stood at 5360 units in July 2022 as compared to 3553 units in July 2021, i.e. up by 50.90%. However, exports stood at 501 units in last month compared to 640 unit in July 2021, a decline of 21.7%.
