New Delhi, January 31 – The Delhi Assembly Elections are set to take place on February 5, 2025, with the Election Commission and administration fully prepared for the voting process. A total of 1.56 crore voters are eligible to cast their votes across 13,766 polling stations in the state.
Additionally, the counting of votes will be held on February 8, with 19 counting centers established across 11 districts of Delhi.

Election Readiness & Key Details
Delhi’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), R. Alice Vaz, addressed a press conference, confirming that all necessary preparations have been completed for the upcoming elections.

✔ Total registered voters: 1,56,14,000
✔ Male voters: 83,76,173
✔ Female voters: 72,36,560
✔ Transgender voters: 1,267
✔ Service voters: 12,736
✔ Specially-abled voters: 79,885
✔ First-time young voters: 2,39,905
The Election Commission has also implemented a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the distribution of Electors Photo Identity Cards (EPICs) to ensure smooth voting.
