Communication is the Biggest Challenge in Love Today: Mrunal Thakur

Mumbai, February 18: Actress Mrunal Thakur recently shared her thoughts on the challenges of love in today’s world. While promoting her upcoming film ‘Do Deewane Sheher Mein’, she emphasized that the biggest hurdle in love today is the lack of communication.

Mrunal believes that despite the numerous options and methods available in the age of the internet and social media, relationships are becoming weaker. In an interview with a news agency, she stated, “The biggest problem in love nowadays is communication. With so many ways to connect, people have become fatigued. Instead of talking, they rely on messages or chats, which diminishes the depth of relationships.”

As an actress, she often portrays characters that are mentally challenging or negative. She makes an effort to ensure that the impact of her roles does not affect her behavior at home, particularly with her family and partner.

Mrunal reminisced about the simplicity and beauty of love stories from the past, highlighting the patience that was once a part of romantic relationships. She recalled spending time with Bhagyashree, who shared her love story, illustrating how much waiting was involved just to meet or talk. Back then, waiting for a phone call from a PCO was significant, with only one call a week holding great importance. Despite the many ways to connect today—calls, messages, video calls—relationships still feel fragile and scattered. She concluded that the old-fashioned, simple love was much stronger and more beautiful.

In ‘Do Deewane Sheher Mein’, Mrunal Thakur stars alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sandeepa Dhar, and Ayesha Raza. This romantic drama is produced under the banners of Zee Studios, Bhansali Productions, and Ravi Udaywar Films. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal, and India Kumar Ranga, the film is set to release in theaters on February 20.
