Jaipur, March 11, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) : The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a police constable in Alwar while allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹10,000. The action was carried out by the ACB’s Dausa outpost during a trap operation.

According to officials, the accused Ramprakash, a constable posted at Gola Ka Bas police outpost under Tehla police station in Alwar district, was caught red-handed while taking the bribe.
As per the complaint received by the ACB, the accused had allegedly demanded money from the complainant in connection with accepting a compromise document in a case registered at Tehla police station against the complainant’s parents and younger brother.
After verifying the complaint, the trap operation was conducted under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General Anil Kayal and led by ACB Dausa Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravindra Singh. During the operation, the constable was caught accepting the ₹10,000 bribe from the complainant.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the bribe was allegedly being taken in collusion with the investigating officer of the case, Head Constable Ramnarayan, for accepting the compromise document related to the case.
