Ajmer, September 8 (Kiran News). The troubles of RPS officer Divya Mittal, who was earlier jailed in a ₹2 crore bribery case, have deepened after a local court directed recovery of ₹50,000 from her salary.

Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate (Court No. 2) Manmohan Chandel issued a letter to the Superintendent of Police instructing him to deduct the amount from Mittal’s salary and submit a compliance report within 15 days.
The court noted that Mittal’s complaint had earlier been dismissed with a cost of ₹50,000, but she neither deposited the amount nor appealed against the order to obtain a stay. The judge observed that failure to comply with the earlier order clearly reflected non-implementation.
Background of the Case
Mittal had filed a private complaint in court, alleging that her office staff Bahadur Singh and Sumer Singh, along with NDPS case accused Vikas Agarwal and Mohit Agarwal and another individual, Sher Khan, conspired to attack her and obstruct government work.
She sought action under IPC sections 307 (attempt to murder), 332, 353, 506, 509, and 120B. However, the court found no prima facie evidence against the accused.
The order noted that Mittal had refused to record her statement during police inquiry and also failed to produce witnesses other than herself in court. Terming the complaint as baseless and a waste of judicial time, the court dismissed it with a cost of ₹50,000.
As Mittal has not complied with the cost order, the court has now initiated recovery through salary deduction.
