Rajeev Chandrasekhar Criticizes P. Chidambaram Over Intellectual Naxal Remarks

Thiruvananthapuram, September 9 (Udaipur Kiran) : Kerala BJP president Rajeev Chandrasekhar has taken aim at senior Congress leader and former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram over his comments regarding “intellectual Naxals.” Chandrasekhar accused Chidambaram of coining the term “Hindu terrorism” during his tenure as Home Minister, asserting that such rhetoric reflects a troubling ideological stance.

In a post on X, Chandrasekhar stated, “Since P. Chidambaram has made it clear that he and his Congress colleagues are intellectual Naxals, it is crucial to understand their beliefs and the foundations of their ideology.” He criticized the Congress party for its lenient approach towards Naxalism while many of their own members have suffered violence. He also pointed out their soft stance towards Pakistan and China, despite the sacrifices made by armed forces in the fight against terrorism.

Chandrasekhar further claimed that the Congress party is responsible for creating a false narrative around “Hindu terrorism,” accusing them of fostering division, chaos, and corruption in society. He urged citizens to reflect on the ten years of Congress rule at the Centre and the current Congress government in Kerala as evidence of their failures.

He concluded by highlighting the detrimental impact of leftist ideologies propagated by those who consider themselves intellectuals, stating that they leave behind only chaos and destruction. Chandrasekhar emphasized that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, efforts have been made to eradicate the violent Naxalism that has plagued the country for decades.
