Udaipur : In a shocking incident, a woman burnt the private parts of her younger sister because she had a habit of urinating in bed. The victim is seven year old and had been living with her elder sister for some months at Mohi village under Kankroli police station area at Rajsamand.
The woman scolded and warned the child many times however she failed to follow the order, the elder sister lost her control and tortured the child. She burnt her private parts and thrashed her badly. Hearing the cries, neighbours reported the matter to a woman organization which intervened and called the police. The cops took the child for a medical examination and interrogated the accused.
Circle inspector KailashDan said an enquiry has been called, however no case was registered till the news going to press. Activist and coordinator of Mahila Manch Shakuntala Pamecha termed the act ‘shameful’ and said that the organization would make sure the woman would get punishment for the inhumane treatment she gave to the little girl.
