Udaipur, October 26 (Udaipur Kiran): The winter flight schedule has officially come into effect at Udaipur’s Maharana Pratap Airport from Sunday. The new schedule, valid until March 28, 2026, connects Udaipur to six major Indian cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Indore.

After a gap of one year, SpiceJet is returning to Udaipur Airport operations, with two new direct flights to Delhi and Mumbai starting November 6. The airline’s comeback is expected to strengthen connectivity and boost the city’s upcoming tourist season, which typically witnesses heavy inflow of visitors between Diwali and February.
Expanded Connectivity in Winter Schedule
In the current schedule, Delhi tops the chart with nine daily flights, followed by Mumbai. While connectivity to Ahmedabad and Bhopal has been discontinued this season, other routes have been expanded. Jaipur will now have three daily flights, including one additional flight on Sundays.
For the first time, two daily flights to Bengaluru—one in the morning and one in the evening—have been introduced. Hyderabad will have one daily flight, while Indore will be connected four times a week.
SpiceJet Returns After One Year
SpiceJet had suspended its operations from Udaipur in 2024 due to financial constraints. The airline’s return in 2025 marks a positive development, as it expands its fleet with new Boeing 737 and Airbus A340 aircraft and focuses on network growth. The non-stop flights to Delhi and Mumbai will operate daily from November 6 through March 2026, catering to both tourists and business travelers.
Pune Flight Cancelled at the Last Minute
The proposed direct Udaipur–Pune flight, initially scheduled to start from October 26 under Indigo Airlines, has been cancelled at the last moment. This has disappointed thousands of residents from southern Rajasthan who frequently travel to Pune for jobs, business, and education. The long-awaited route has once again been postponed.
The new winter schedule highlights Udaipur’s growing importance as a tourism and business hub, ensuring better air connectivity during the city’s peak travel season.
