Jaipur, April 1 – A fresh western disturbance is set to influence the weather in Rajasthan over the next few days, with cloud cover likely across eastern and southeastern parts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and thunder may occur in Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Kota divisions on April 3, along with gusty winds reaching up to 40-50 km/h.

Temperature Rise Across Rajasthan
On Tuesday, clear skies and dry weather led to a spike in temperatures across most districts. Barmer recorded the highest temperature at 40.2°C, while Phalodi experienced the warmest night at 23.8°C. Except for Mount Abu, Alwar, Sikar, and Karauli, day temperatures in all major cities rose above 35°C.
Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Jaipur Meteorological Center, noted a 3-5°C increase in temperatures across the state over the last 48 hours. He further forecasted that maximum temperatures could reach 42°C in Barmer, Jaisalmer, and surrounding regions by April 5, potentially triggering heatwave conditions.
