BJPs New Team Holds First Meeting to Discuss Organizational Priorities

New Delhi, August 22: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to hold several important organizational meetings in the national capital on Saturday, featuring newly appointed national officials and senior leaders at the state level.

These meetings come shortly after BJP President Nitin Naveen announced significant changes within the party’s national team. The first meeting of the new national officials with Naveen is expected to serve as an introductory session, focusing on organizational priorities, coordination with party workers, and strengthening the BJP’s grassroots network. This meeting is particularly crucial as the party prepares for upcoming assembly elections and its long-term organizational strategy.

Another key discussion will revolve around the nationwide ‘Modi@25’ campaign, celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life. The party is expected to finalize the roadmap and outline for events to be held across the country.

BJP President Nitin Naveen, along with National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santosh and Program In-Charge Vinod Tawde, as well as state presidents, organizational general secretaries, and state in-charges, are likely to participate in these meetings.

The gatherings will also provide a platform to discuss organizational expansion, electoral preparations, and coordination between the party’s central and state units. The comprehensive organizational plan is anticipated to prominently address the upcoming elections, including the 2027 electoral cycle.

It is believed that this series of meetings will shape the direction of the BJP’s organizational activities and nationwide programs in the coming months.

Meanwhile, on August 17, the BJP announced a new national team of officials under President Naveen’s leadership, marking a significant organizational reshuffle. The new team includes 13 national vice-presidents, 8 national general secretaries, and 16 national secretaries, along with other organizational appointments. Senior leaders such as Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Ram Madhav, Baijayant Panda, and Tirath Singh Rawat have been appointed as national vice-presidents, while Smriti Irani, Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, and Biplab Kumar Deb have been designated as national general secretaries.

B.L. Santosh will continue as National General Secretary (Organization), while Piyush Goyal has been appointed as National Treasurer. This reshuffle has brought several new faces into key positions, aiming to blend organizational experience with youthful leadership, broader regional representation, and greater social diversity.
