Venkateshwar College of Nursing Holds Cancer Awareness Programme on World Cancer Day

Udaipur (Udaipur Kiran): Venkateshwar College of Nursing, Umarda (a unit of S.T.U.), organised a cancer awareness programme on the occasion of World Cancer Day. The event was conducted by B.Sc. Nursing fourth-semester students and was based on this year’s theme, “United By Unique”.

The programme was held from 11 am to 1 pm at Mahatma Gandhi Government Senior Secondary School, Ambuja. Nursing students spread awareness about cancer through an impactful short street play, highlighting the importance of awareness and prevention.

The successful event was organised under the guidance of College Principal Dr Vijay Singh Rawat, Professor Dr Archana Khemnar, Prakash Salvi, Ms Maheshwari Patel, Aditya Kant Sharma, Ms Neeraj Kanwar and Jitendra Kumar. A total of 160 students participated in the programme, along with school teachers and local villagers.

On the occasion, participants pledged to apply the learnings in their daily lives in the future. Gratitude was also expressed to all those who contributed to the successful organisation of the programme.
