Union Minister Anurag Thakur Attacks Congress from Rajasthan

Udaipur : Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Thakur, on Friday, September 15, 2023, attacked the Congress government in Rajasthan, alleging that it has failed to provide law and order and development in the state.

Thakur was speaking to media persons in Udaipur, where he was on a visit to attend a BJP event. He accused the Congress government of being “corrupt” and “inefficient”.

“The Congress government in Rajasthan has failed to provide law and order. There is an increase in crime against women, especially rape and murder. The government is also failing to provide basic amenities to the people,” Thakur said.

Thakur also criticized the government’s handling of the economy. He said that the state is facing a “jobs crisis” and that the government has failed to create opportunities for the youth.

“The Congress government is only interested in filling their own pockets. They have no concern for the welfare of the people,” Thakur said.

Thakur’s attack on the Congress government comes ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in Rajasthan. The BJP is hoping to win the elections and oust the Congress government.

The Congress government has denied Thakur’s allegations. It has said that it is committed to the welfare of the people and that it has made significant progress in the fields of law and order, development, and economy.

The upcoming Assembly elections in Rajasthan are likely to be a closely fought contest between the BJP and the Congress. The outcome of the elections will have a significant impact on the national political scene.
