Udaipur : Indian Railways has changed the route of the Udaipur to Kamakhya weekly train, Kavi Guru Express. The train is now not going to Ayodhya.
According to railway sources, the change in route was made in view of the upcoming Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The train will not be going to Ayodhya until further orders.
The Kavi Guru Express, train number 19615, used to depart from Udaipur at 4:05 pm on Mondays and travel via Jaipur, Kasganj, and Ayodhya to Kamakhya. However, the railway has now changed the route of the train to Jaipur, Sultanpur, and Kamakhya.
The train used to depart from Kamakhya at 6:30 pm on Thursdays and arrive in Udaipur at 11:55 pm on Sundays. This train is also being operated on the changed route.
In addition to the Kavi Guru Express, Indian Railways has also started special trains from Bikaner, Jaisalmer, and Jodhpur in the North Western Railway zone. These trains are being operated under the name of “Aastha Trains”. In the coming days, special trains will also be operated from other places to Ayodhya.
