Mumbai (Udaipur Kiran) — Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror-comedy ‘Thama’ has continued its impressive box office run despite a slight drop in collections on the second day. Released on October 21, the film opened to a massive response and marked the biggest opening of Ayushmann’s career.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, ‘Thama’ collected ₹24 crore on its opening day and around ₹18 crore on day two, taking its total domestic earnings to ₹42 crore. The film has also performed strongly in overseas markets, crossing ₹45 crore worldwide within just two days of release.
Alongside Ayushmann and Rashmika, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays a crucial role that adds an unexpected twist to the story. Viewers have praised Ayushmann’s comic timing and Rashmika’s on-screen charm, calling the film both entertaining and fresh.
The film’s strong performance has once again proven that a solid mix of engaging content, star power, and unique storytelling can guarantee box office success, even in a competitive festive season.
