Jaipur, March 25, 2025 | Defence News: The South Western Command (Sapta Shakti Command) of the Indian Army conducted a landmark ‘Technology Absorption Seminar’ at Hisar Military Station on March 25, 2025, aimed at deepening defence preparedness through the integration of cutting-edge technologies into future warfare doctrines.

Army Commander Highlights Vision 2047 & Defence-Tech Synergy
The event was graced by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command, as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, he underscored how exponential technological advancements are transforming the nature of modern conflict and challenging traditional warfare concepts.

Civil-Military Partnership Strengthened with GJUST MoU
A key milestone of the seminar was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Collaborative Research and Development between South Western Command and Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar.
The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Vice Chancellor, GJUST, and Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, symbolising a robust step toward military-civil fusion and a whole-of-nation approach in addressing future security challenges through joint innovation.
