Sapta Shakti Command Hosts Formation Commanders’ Conference in Jaipur

Jaipur, June 24 — The Formation Commanders’ Conference of the Sapta Shakti Command was successfully conducted in Jaipur from June 23 to 24, 2025, under the leadership of Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command.

Over the course of two days, senior military leaders engaged in in-depth discussions on the current security landscape, with a particular focus on tactical and technological advancements required for future operational readiness.

Focus on Modernisation and Technological Adaptation

Key topics addressed during the conference included the adoption of niche technologies, modernisation of forces, cybersecurity measures, and capacity and capability enhancement. The sessions also explored innovative solutions to emerging threats, and ways to further strengthen operational preparedness across formations.

Lt Gen Manjinder Singh emphasized the importance of technology-driven solutions and encouraged commanders to embrace innovative approaches in the use of equipment and emerging technologies. He stressed the need for systematic, realistic training with comprehensive performance assessments, urging formations to adopt a dynamic and adaptive mindset to meet evolving security challenges.

Recognition for Operation Sindoor

The Army Commander also commended the collective efforts of all ranks and formations for the highly successful and decisive execution of Operation Sindoor, and encouraged them to maintain momentum in their pursuit of operational excellence.

The conference reflected the Sapta Shakti Command’s ongoing commitment to evolving its tactical capabilities and operational readiness to address contemporary and future challenges effectively.
