Mumbai, March 23 : The BSE Sensex on Wednesday advanced further by 209 points to open at 58,198.64 on brisk buying in Materials, Energy, Telecom and Realty stocks. The Nifty too rose 45.35 points at 17,360.85. The Sensex registered days high and low at 58,416.56 and 58,043.45 points respectively. The Nifty registered days high and low at 17,442.40 and 17,332.60 points respectively. The Mid Cap moved up 0.38 per cent and Small Cap by 0.45 per cent. In 30 scrips, 7 advanced while 23 declined The gainers were Dr Reddy’s Lab by 2.93 per cent to Rs 4150, ITC by 1.12 per cent to Rs 252.60, IndusInd Bank by 0.92 per cent to Rs 935.80, Sun Pharma by 0.85 per cent to Rs 921.70 and Reliance Industries by 0.80 per cent to Rs 2551.25. The losers were Bharti Airtel by 1.72 per cent to Rs 706.81, Maruti Suzuki by 1.46 per cent to Rs 7650, Asian Paints by 0.79 per cent to Rs 3029.15 and HDFC by 0.65 per cent to Rs 2387.15. NV PRT
