The Samsung Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A06 are said to be in the works. While the company has yet to confirm the launch of the smartphone, details regarding the launch schedule and price range have been leaked in a recent report.
These phones sit alongside the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A05. Namely, the Samsung Galaxy A05 was launched in October 2023, while the 4G and 5G versions of the Galaxy A15 were launched in December 2023.

Samsung Galaxy A16 and Samsung Galaxy A06 release schedule (expected)
GalaxyClub reports that the Samsung Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A06 will be released this December. However, the report added that the phones won’t hit global markets until early 2025. Other Samsung Galaxy A smartphones such as the Galaxy A36 or Galaxy A56 are rumored to hit the market in spring 2025 (March-April).

According to the aforementioned report, the Samsung Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A06 are expected to be priced at or below EUR 200 (roughly Rs. 18,200). During internal testing, the phones were model numbers SM-A166B and SM-A065M. Like its predecessor, the Galaxy A16 will also be available in a 5G version.
Unfortunately, the report does not mention the expected specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A06.

The 5G and 4G versions of the Samsung Galaxy A15 are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ and MediaTek Helio G99 chipsets. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A05 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.
The Samsung Galaxy A15 is equipped with a triple camera of 50 megapixels on the back and 13 megapixels on the front. The Galaxy A05, on the other hand, has a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. All three phones are packed with 5,000mAh batteries that support 25W fast wired charging.
