Sambhv Steel Tubes Shares Jump on Chhattisgarh Unit Expansion Approval

Mumbai, December 10 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Sambhv Steel Tubes Ltd surged on the BSE on Tuesday after the company received approval for the expansion of its manufacturing unit in Chhattisgarh. The stock was trading at Rs 95.55, up by 3.65 points or 3.97 per cent from its previous close of Rs 91.90.

The scrip opened at Rs 92.05 and touched an intraday high of Rs 95.90 and a low of Rs 87.05. A total of 35,628 shares were traded on the counter during the session.

The BSE Group ‘B’ stock, with a face value of Rs 10, touched its 52-week high of Rs 149.24 on July 22, 2025, and a 52-week low of Rs 87.05 on December 9, 2025. Over the last one week, the stock moved between a high of Rs 104.95 and a low of Rs 87.05. The company’s current market capitalisation stands at Rs 2,778.75 crore.

Promoter holding in the company stands at 56.15 per cent, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 5.33 per cent and 38.53 per cent, respectively.

Sambhv Steel Tubes has received approval for the expansion of its manufacturing facility for Stainless Steel Cold Rolled Coils and Pre-Galvanized (GP) Coils at its Kuthrel Unit in Village Kuthrel, Tehsil Raipur, District Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The expansion includes a Cold Rolling Mill (CRM) with Bright Annealing (BA) Line and a Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL).

The proposed investment for the expansion is Rs 50 crore, which will be funded through internal accruals. The proposed capacity addition is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of FY26. The Board of Directors approved the expansion plan at its meeting held on December 8, 2025.

Sambhv Steel Tubes is engaged in manufacturing steel products, including sponge iron, blooms and slabs, hot rolled coils, electric resistance welded black pipes and tubes, and also operates captive power generation facilities.
