Rohtas, October 2 (Udaipur Kiran) : Bihar’s Food and Consumer Protection Minister Ashok Chaudhary recently spoke about the ongoing tensions regarding the Congress MLC candidate within the Grand Alliance. He remarked that differences within the coalition are not new, recalling similar issues during the assembly elections. Chaudhary attributed these conflicts to a lack of mutual understanding among the parties involved.
Highlighting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s pivotal role in Bihar’s politics, Chaudhary stated that the public recognizes Kumar as a visionary leader due to his developmental initiatives. He noted that people refer to him as “Bihar’s Vishwakarma” and “Gandhi of Bihar” because of the transformative work he has accomplished.
Chaudhary reflected on the challenging circumstances Bihar faced in the past, recalling a time when the state was marred by violence and lacked basic amenities like electricity. He pointed out that while Bihar’s electricity consumption was merely 700 megawatts at one point, it has now surged to 8,700 megawatts, showcasing significant progress.
The minister emphasized the importance of unity among Bihar’s residents to foster prosperity. He urged the need to attract industries to the state, highlighting the government’s new industrial policy as one of the best in the country, offering various incentives. With a population of 14 crore, Chaudhary stressed the urgency of creating jobs to combat unemployment, particularly among the youth.
In closing, he reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making Bihar prosperous through ongoing initiatives under the “Seven Resolves,” a plan introduced by Nitish Kumar aimed at sustainable development.
