We have come across certain media reports regarding an instance of a robbery at Manappuram Finance Ltd. at our Pratap Nagar branch in Udaipur.
In this regard, we wish to clarify as follows: –
This afternoon (29th August), we were notified of a robbery at the Pratap Nagar branch. We immediately alerted the local police authorities, who are investigating the matter. We are cooperating fully with the authorities and we have full faith that the culprits will be nabbed soon. We would also like to assure our customers that there will be no loss to their property pledged with us as the gold is fully insured and we have a policy to compensate customers with equivalent gold should the jewellery not be traced or recovered.
