According to a Weibo post by tipster Smart Pikachu, the Realme GT 7 Pro is likely to feature a periscope telephoto lens that offers a high level of optical zoom. He also said that for security reasons, the upcoming smartphone will come with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It is said to enable more precise and accurate fingerprint measurement than optical scanners.
Earlier, the Realme GT 7 Pro was launched with the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The release of the chipset is expected in October this year. The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are expected to be the first phones with such a chipset to be launched in China. The Realme phone may not be the first smartphone to launch in China with this processor, but it could be the first smartphone to offer this chip outside of China in global markets.
