According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a heatwave is likely to sweep through southwestern Rajasthan on March 11-12. However, a weak western disturbance is expected to bring cloud cover and light rainfall in some parts of the state around March 13-15, offering temporary relief.

Temperature Soars: Barmer Hottest at 41°C

- Jalore followed closely, also surpassing the 40°C mark.
- Phalodi recorded the warmest night temperature at 22.2°C.
