Poco recently launched the Poco F6 smartphone in India. It is a mid-range phone with a base price of Rs 29,999. It is also the first smartphone in the country to come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. The Poco F6 will go on sale for the first time on May 29 via Flipkart. Poco F6: price and advantages
Poco F6 comes in three variants: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. Prices are Rs 29,999, Rs 31,999 and Rs 33,999 respectively. As part of the introductory offer, the Poco F6 is available at a special price starting at Rs 25,999.
The company also announced an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on purchasing the phone using an ICICI Bank credit card. There is also a 2000 yen discount.
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2400 nits. The phone has a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz and PWM dimming of 2160 Hz. This display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset based on TSMC’s 4nm process node and supports the same ISP and AI support on the device. 3rd Gen Snapdragon 8S features an Adreno 735 GPU. It comes with up to 12 LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
Poco F6 runs on Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box. The company promises three years of software updates and four years of security updates.
The Poco F6 has a dual camera setup on the back. It includes a 50-megapixel 1/1.95-inch Sony IMX882 sensor with an f/1.59 wide-angle lens and OIS, and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The smartphone has a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The smartphone is powered by a 5500mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging. The company ships with a 120-watt charger. The smartphone also features a super-large 4800mm IceLoop cooling system.
