PM Modis Magic Turns the Tide for BJP in Bengal Elections

New Delhi, May 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s influence has emerged as a crucial factor in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) significant victory in the West Bengal elections. His connection with the people of Bengal has evidently resonated, leading to a favorable outcome for the party. The BJP’s dynamic leaders also played a pivotal role, conducting numerous rallies that shifted the electoral landscape in their favor.

Additionally, 9,498 Bengali migrants from 21 states participated in campaigning for the BJP. Street corner meetings were held at 8,315 power centers across the state.

The ‘Chakri Chai Bangla’ campaign registered job seekers in 220 constituencies, while 196,000 drawing-room meetings were organized to engage women. The BJP also hosted over 600 programs across 288 seats featuring 61 national and state leaders.

Prime Minister Modi held 19 election rallies and conducted two roadshows in West Bengal, with a notable presence of 750,000 attendees at the ‘Brigade Chalo’ rally in Kolkata. His messages, including a boat ride on the Hooghly River, resonated with the local populace.

Home Minister Amit Shah conducted 40 rallies and roadshows, emphasizing the need for the people to reconnect with their cultural roots. BJP’s national president Nitin Gadkari and other central leaders held events in 128 constituencies, alongside 101 rallies by chief ministers from other states.
