Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals (MRPL) has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2018.
The company has reported net loss of Rs 81.16 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 477.95 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 42.18% at Rs 17,771.03 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 12,498.97 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
MRPL is engaged in the business of refining crude oil. It offers high speed diesel oil, fuel oil and motor spirit. It operates as a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation.
