Mumbai, September 4: A golden opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to work in the country’s largest and oldest public sector bank. The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on a contract basis, with an official notification released on its website for various 207 positions.
The 207 vacancies include 1 Zonal Head (Retail), 5 Regional Heads (RH), 24 Relationship Manager-Team Leads, 9 Investment Specialists (IS), 4 Investment Officers (IO), 91 VP Wealth, and 73 AVP Wealth positions.
The online application process for all these posts commenced on September 4, with the last date to apply set for September 25. Interested and eligible candidates wishing to fill out the application form can successfully complete their registration process on SBI’s official website before or by the deadline.
Applicants must possess a graduation degree from a recognized institution or university as per the position, along with a PG degree or diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Business Management/Commerce/Economics/Capital Markets/Banking/Insurance/Actuarial Science, or professional qualifications like CA/CFA. Additionally, candidates should have relevant experience ranging from 3 to 15 years, along with other specified eligibility and skills.
The minimum age for applicants is set between 23 to 35 years, while the maximum age is between 35 to 50 years, calculated as of August 31, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on the scrutiny of submitted application forms and document verification, followed by shortlisting, personal/phone/video interviews, CTC negotiations, and the final merit list. The CTC for selected candidates will range from ₹30.20 lakh to ₹97.00 lakh, depending on the position.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹750 for General/EWS/OBC categories. Candidates from SC/ST/PWD categories are exempt from the registration fee.
