This change in weather is also likely to affect temperatures, which may drop to around 31 degrees Celsius. Continuous rainfall has kept the air quality index in a satisfactory range. According to the weather department’s report, the sky will generally be overcast on September 4, with moderate rainfall expected. Light to moderate rain is anticipated in the morning, accompanied by lightning.
In the afternoon, a warning for moderate to heavy rainfall has been issued, while light to moderate rain may occur again at night. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 32 degrees, with a minimum of 26 degrees. On September 5, little change in weather is expected, with maximum temperatures around 31 degrees and minimums at 25 degrees. Humidity levels will remain between 85-75 percent.
Rainfall with lightning is expected throughout the day—morning, noon, afternoon, and evening—with a particular alert for moderate to heavy rain in the afternoon. From September 6, the weather is expected to clear up, with light rain or drizzle possible, but no severe warnings have been issued. Temperatures will range from a maximum of 32 degrees to a minimum of 25 degrees, while humidity will decrease to 80-65 percent.
On September 7, the sky will be partially cloudy, but no rain is expected. Maximum temperatures could reach 34 degrees, with minimums around 24 degrees. Humidity will range from 70-55 percent, leading to an increase in heat. Partial cloud cover is also expected on September 8 and 9, with temperatures hovering around 34 degrees. Minimum temperatures will be 25 degrees and 26 degrees, respectively. Continuous rain and wind have contributed to improved air quality in Delhi-NCR.
As per morning data, the AQI in various locations is as follows: 103 in Ashok Vihar, 49 in Aya Nagar, 104 in Bawana, 61 at Burari Crossing, 74 in the Cantonment Area, 85 in Chandni Chowk, and 47 on Mathura Road. In Noida, the AQI readings are 118 in Sector-125, 50 in Sector-62, 72 in Sector-1, and 98 in Sector-116. In Ghaziabad, AQI levels are 51 in Govindpuram, 36 in Indirapuram, 111 in Loni, 67 in Sanjay Nagar, 60 in Vasundhara, and 94 in Ved Vihar-Loni.
Overall, the AQI remains in the satisfactory to moderate range across most locations, which is a relief. According to weather experts, this rainfall will provide respite from heat and humidity before the monsoon’s departure.
