Mumbai, September 4 (Kiran News): Shares of Lucent Industries edged higher on Thursday after the company announced that it had signed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% equity in Mobavenue Media (MMPL).
The stock was trading at ₹1,081.00 on the BSE, up by ₹5.90 or 0.55% from its previous close of ₹1,075.10. The scrip opened at ₹1,100.00 and touched a high of ₹1,100.00 and a low of ₹1,080.00, with 309 shares traded during the session.
Lucent Industries’ market capitalisation currently stands at ₹1,621.50 crore. The stock has a 52-week high of ₹1,189.90 recorded on August 14, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹350.45 on September 4, 2024. Over the past week, it has traded between ₹1,150.00 and ₹1,050.00.
Promoters hold 67.61% in the company, while non-institutional investors account for 32.39%.
The acquisition of MMPL is aimed at streamlining operations, enhancing business synergies, and achieving higher operational efficiencies. Lucent said the consolidation would enable better integration of expertise, technology, and market strategies to maximise stakeholder value.

The company’s board had approved the acquisition on July 2, 2025, while shareholders granted their approval through a postal ballot resolution on August 29, 2025.
