Lenovo’s compact Android tablet, the Legion Tab, has seen an unexpected price increase, now retailing at $549.99 for U.S. buyers.

Price Increase Without Explanation
Initially launched at $499.99, the Legion Tab positioned itself as a powerful alternative to the iPad Mini, boasting an 8.8-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and 12GB of RAM. However, within the past few days, Lenovo quietly raised the price by $50 on its official online store without providing an official reason.
Industry speculation suggests tariffs or supply chain costs might be factors behind the sudden price jump. Notably, this increase has not impacted Lenovo’s Yoga Tab Plus, which remains available at a significant discount on the company’s website.
Availability Now Stable in the U.S.
The Legion Tab faced availability issues post-launch, frequently going out of stock. However, since late February, Lenovo has stabilized its supply, with orders now shipping in as little as 2-3 days.
As of now, the $499.99 price point is no longer available, and there are no indications of upcoming discounts or promotions. Lenovo has yet to issue an official statement regarding the price adjustment.
Awaiting Official Response
We have reached out to Lenovo for a statement on the Legion Tab’s price hike and will update this article once further details emerge.
