Mumbai, August 28: Actress Anushka Ranjan, who recently welcomed twin daughters with her husband Aditya Seal, has opened up about her pregnancy experiences and how it has deepened her understanding of the human body.
In a recent episode of actress Soha Ali Khan’s podcast ‘All About Her’, Anushka candidly discussed her personal IVF journey and motherhood experiences alongside Dr. Nandita Palta, a prominent gynecologist and the medical director and founder of Bloom IVF Group.
During the conversation, Soha asked Anushka, “What was your entire pregnancy experience like?”
Responding to this, Anushka shared, “I realized that this is my personal journey. A friend of mine, Karishma Tanna, recently gave birth. There was a month’s difference in our deliveries. She was in London, then Thailand, and the next day in Dubai. Then she went out for dinner and lunch, while I was messaging doctors asking, ‘Doctor, can I do this? Should I avoid that?’ So, I realized during this journey that pregnancy is a very personal experience, and you cannot compare the experiences of two people. I even started watching various videos and information related to different people’s pregnancies.”
She added, “But I think comparing is very wrong because my journey is different, my lifestyle is different from my friend’s, my genes are different, yet somehow her journey seemed easier, while mine was more cautious.”
