Oppo is gearing up to expand its Find X8 series with new models set to launch in April. According to Zhou Yibao, Product Manager of flagship products at Oppo, the Find X8S will boast ultra-thin bezels on all four sides, surpassing even the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max in terms of slimness.

Revolutionary Display Technology
The Find X8S will feature a bezel thickness of just “1.xx mm”, achieved through Oppo’s advanced COP (Chip-on-Panel) packaging technology. This innovation integrates the display driver chip directly into the screen, eliminating the need for a larger driver IC.
The advantages of this cutting-edge display technology include:
✔ Reduced bezels for a more immersive viewing experience.
✔ Enhanced energy efficiency compared to conventional panels.
✔ Premium design aesthetics with an almost borderless display.
However, this technology does come with challenges, as COP panels are more complex to manufacture and costlier than traditional screen technologies.
What to Expect from the Find X8 Series
Oppo is rumored to introduce the Find X8S as a compact “Mini” model in the lineup. Additionally, a Find X8S+ is expected to join the series, alongside the highly anticipated Find X8 Ultra, which could feature a penta-camera setup for next-level mobile photography.
With Oppo’s relentless innovation in display technology, the Find X8S is shaping up to be a game-changer in the smartphone industry. More details are expected to surface as the launch date approaches.
