Mumbai, October 16 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of KEC International edged higher in Wednesday’s trade after the company announced that its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business had secured a new order worth Rs 1,038 crore in Saudi Arabia. The stock was trading at Rs. 853.50, up by Rs. 2.95 or 0.35%, compared to its previous close of Rs. 850.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 863.05 and touched a high of Rs. 874.40 and a low of Rs. 849.40 during the session. Around 26,383 shares were traded on the counter, with the company’s market capitalization standing at Rs. 22,720.17 crore.
The company announced that its T&D business has received a significant order for the design, supply, and installation of a 380 kV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) in Saudi Arabia, reinforcing its strong execution record in the Middle East.
Earlier, KEC International had secured orders worth Rs 1,174 crore for various transmission and distribution projects in India and the Middle East, highlighting its growing global presence and diversified project portfolio.
The promoters hold 50.10% of the company’s equity, while institutions and non-institutions own 38.58% and 11.32%, respectively.
