
HMD Crest and Crest Max 5G have been launched in India as the latest smartphones from Finnish manufacturer HMD. The new HMD phone comes in three colors with a 6.67-inch OLED display. It runs on the Unisoc T760 5G chipset and has a 50MP front camera. The HMD Crest features a dual camera setup at the back, while the HMD Crest Max 5G features a triple rear camera unit. It has a 5000mAh battery and features easy self-healing.

HMD Crest costs Rs. The HMD Crest Max costs Rs 12,999. 14,999 in Japan. These are initially special prices and it is unclear how long the offer will be valid. The HMD Crest is available in Midnight Blue, Rush Lilac and Royal Pink, while the HMD Crest Max is available in Teal, Dark Purple and Royal Pink. The sale of these products on Amazon was confirmed during the big Azadi sale in August.

HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max 5G run on Android 14 and have a 6.67-inch Full HD + OLED display. This device supports Unisoc T760 5G Octa-core 6nm chipset. The HMD Crest has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the HMD Crest Max has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The former offers 6GB of virtual RAM while the latter has 8GB of virtual RAM.
As for the optics, the HMD Crest features a dual 50MP AI-assisted rear camera. The HMD Crest Max 5G, on the other hand, features a triple rear camera unit that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max 5G have a 50MP selfie camera. Both phones have a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W charging. The battery unit is said to support 800 charging cycles. It offers Repairability 1.0, allowing users to quickly replace the back panel, battery, charging port and display themselves.
The launch of HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max 5G marks HMD’s first foray into the Indian smartphone market. The company had previously launched Nokia-branded devices in the country.
