Udaipur, 28th March 2025 – In celebration of Rajasthan’s 76th Foundation Day, Hindustan Zinc Limited (NSE: HINDZINC), India’s largest and the world’s second-largest integrated zinc producer, hosted the first-ever Sakhi Fest in Udaipur. The event honored the vibrancy of Rajasthan’s cultural heritage and marked a milestone in the company’s commitment to empowering rural women through its flagship initiative, Sakhi.

Sakhi Fest: A Cultural & Social Milestone
Held in Zinc City, Udaipur, Sakhi Fest brought together thousands of women from across Rajasthan, celebrating their contributions through a day-long festival. Over 30 interactive stalls and live showcases exhibited traditional Rajasthani art forms such as block printing, pottery, puppetry, terracotta art, and clay sculpture making. Culinary delights from across the state added flavor to the festivities.
The highlight of the event included performances by the renowned Nizami Brothers, Sufi artist Honey Sharma, and folk icons Shubhra Pareek, Firoz Khan, and Muzaffar Rehman, bringing the soul of Rajasthan to life.
