Jaipur, April 7, (Udaipur Kiran): The three-day Hindi Nest Katha-Kahan workshop held at Kanota Camp near Jaipur concluded successfully, leaving participants inspired and creatively enriched. Participants from across the country actively engaged in the sessions, learning different aspects of storytelling and refining their creative skills.

This year’s workshop was organised in memory of noted litterateur Raghunandan Trivedi, adding emotional and literary significance to the programme.
Inaugural Session Sets the Tone
During the opening session, resort operator Dr. Bahadur Singh Rathore shared his experience, stating that the workshop inspired him to write two books. Senior author Manisha Kulshreshtha said that storytelling cannot be directly taught, but creativity can certainly be nurtured. Kush Vaishnav described the initiative as the result of six years of dedicated effort.
Book Releases and Tribute
On the occasion, a collection of selected stories titled “Seepiyan” was released, along with the Kindle edition of “Dhanak-5”. In the first session, Dr. Satyanarayan, Vinod Bhardwaj, and Manisha Kulshreshtha reflected on the creative legacy of Raghunandan Trivedi.
Exploring Dimensions of Writing
Geet Chaturvedi advised writers to embrace internal conflict in fiction. Jaiprakash Pandey and Yatindra Mishra highlighted the importance of narrative elements even in non-fiction. Dr. Vinay Kumar emphasised that creativity requires confronting difficult emotions, while Prabhat Ranjan spoke about the strength of native language expression. Pankaj Subir and Manisha Kulshreshtha explained the process of shaping a plot into a compelling story.
Diverse Creative Sessions
The second day featured discussions on art, crime fiction, international literature, graphic novels, and the distinction between short stories and novels. On the final day, a play titled “Album,” based on Raghunandan Trivedi’s story, was staged under the direction of Aru Vyas. Swati Vyas delivered a notable performance.
